For years, I tied my value to productivity.
If I checked off every task, I felt accomplished. If I didn’t, I felt behind, lazy, or “less than.”
The problem? That meant my self-worth was always one undone task away from collapse.
📌
What Changed
I started asking myself different questions at the end of the day:
- Did I take care of myself?
- Did I show up where it mattered most?
- Did I leave room for joy?
Some days my answer is “yes” with a long to-do list.
Some days it’s “yes” with almost nothing crossed off.
And both are valid.

The Lesson
Your worth is not a list.
It’s not a number.
It’s who you are when the list is put away.
Productivity is a tool. It’s not proof of your value.
💬 Tell me — how do you measure a “good” day?
I’d love to hear in the comments.
